Our headquarters is located in Nainital, Uttarakhand β the heart of our sensor mapping area. Our smart sensors track rare herbs from 400m to 2,300m elevations across diverse microclimates.
7 sensor zones monitored
The Smart Sensor Mapping System is a pioneering IoT and AI-based initiative to map, monitor, and protect Uttarakhand's rare and endangered medicinal plants and wild fruits. It uses GPS-enabled sensors, wireless networks, and AI identification deployed across Nainital district.
We welcome research partnerships, conservation collaborations, funding support, and media partnerships. Use the contact form above or email us directly at info@smartsensormap.in to discuss collaboration opportunities.
The pilot project covers 7 distinct zones in Nainital district β Bhimtal & Ghorakhal, Mukteshwar & Ramgarh Belt, Nainital Lake Region, Haldwani Foothill Zone, High Himalayan Treks, Betalghat & Kosi River Belt, and Ramnagar Bhabhar Range β spanning 400m to 2,300m elevation.
